DA EXPERI��NCIA EST��TICA �� TEORIA DOS AFETOS

The philosopher John Dewey, influenced by Darwin, as well as other pragmatist philosophers, sought by continuities in his reflections. For the philosopher, reflecting on art, aesthetic experience is not an isolated aspect or disconnected from the other modes of experience in the context of aesthetic pleasure. These experiences arise from external conditions whose origin is rooted in the institutions and habits of life. The idea of continuity is also useful when overcomes the apparent distance between human sciences and natural sciences. Similarly, the present study is stablished in connection between philosophy and science. We are interested in advancing the understanding of the aesthetic experience from studies in the world of neuroscience for them to establish links between experience, language, emotions and affections. Interessa-nos avan��ar o entendimento sobre a experi��ncia est��tica a partir de estudos realizados no universo das neuroci��ncias para neles estabelecer nexos entre experi��ncia, linguagem, emo����es e afetos. Como Dewey j�� havia percebido em seu tempo, afetos n��o somente modulam personalidades, mas pervadem toda a atividade humana, o que inclui a produ����o na arte, no design e d�� forma �� tecitura das rela����es pol��ticas e sociais e �� realidade.
