Negociar feminilidades e pertencimentos por meio do futebol: fluxos, fronteiras e na prática esportiva comunitária de mulheres

We analyse the potential of community football as a space where adult women, at the beginning of their legal careers, negotiate a sense of belonging to their professional category and the right to leisure. Understanding the senses of belonging and the barriers faced by women when playing football in adulthood highlights the obstacles and opportunities that the sport presents during a period when female participation tends to decrease due to competition for time with careers, work, and domestic responsibilities, demonstrating intersections of gender and class in their experiences. Playing football in this context is to challenge the expectations surrounding the femininity of women lawyers, while at the same time reaffirming aspects intrinsic to the professional field they occupy, reasserting values related to meritocracy and discipline, composing an "empowered" femininity. With this, they navigate and redraw through professional spaces, drawing attention to the regimes of power that operate within the post-feminist neoliberal rhetoric.
Aqui examinamos as potencialidades do futebol comunitário como um espaço onde mulheres adultas, no início da carreira advocatícia, negociam o senso de pertencimento à categoria profissional e ao direito ao lazer. Entender os sentidos de pertencimento e as barreiras enfrentadas pelas mulheres ao praticarem futebol na idade adulta ressalta os obstáculos e as oportunidades que o esporte apresenta durante um período em que a participação feminina tende a diminuir, devido à concorrência de tempo com carreiras, trabalho e responsabilidades domésticas, demonstrando intersecções de gênero e classe nas experiências delas. Jogar futebol nesse contexto é desafiar as expectativas em torno da feminilidade das mulheres advogadas, ao mesmo tempo que ratificar aspectos próprios do campo profissional que elas ocupam, reafirmando valores relacionados à meritocracia e à disciplina, compondo uma feminilidade “empoderada”. Com isso, transitam e se redesenham pelos espaços profissionais, chamando a atenção para os regimes de poder que operam dentro da retórica neoliberal pós-feminista.
