      This paper discusses the use of music and sound effects in the set of plays that make up Agustín Moreto’s Segunda parte de comedias (Valencia, 1676). The author pays attention to the importance the writer gives to theses resources as a descriptive method of dramatic spaces and human feelings under the influence of the Pythagorean doctrine of the aesthetics of the numbers
      En el presente trabajo se analiza el empleo de música y efectos sonoros en el conjunto de piezas que conforman la Segunda parte de comedias de Agustín Moreto (Valencia, 1676). Se prestará atención a la importancia que el escritor concede a estos recursos como método descriptivo de espacios dramáticos y sentimientos humanos bajo el influjo de la doctrina pitagórica de la estética de los números.
