Extends from Malibu Beach, Topanga Canyon and Mission San Fernando to Ensenada, centered on San Juan Capistrano in the west. Death Valley, Las Vegas, Needles, Parker Dam, the Salton Sea, to the Arizona boarder on the east. Covers the counties of San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and Imperial. It shows missions, places of interest and historically significant events in the region including Anza Trail 1774-76, and Butterfield Trail 1858.
