      This study aimed to compare the evaluation of parents and teachers of children with and without a diagnosis of ADHD, and to investigate sensitivity and specificity indicators of the SNAP-IV (Swanson, Nolan, & Pelham Questionnaire, 2001). Children between 4 and 12 years old participated, 20 with ADHD diagnosis, and 40 without a diagnosis (controls). Parents and teachers rated the ADHD symptoms using the SNAP-IV. To analyze the agreement of the evaluation, Pearson's correlation coefficients, chi-square test and Cohen's kappa coefficient were used. Sensitivity and specificity were analyzed using the ROC curve. There was a high correlation between the SNAP-IV subscales rated by the same evaluator and a moderate correlation between evaluators. Differences in the quantity of symptoms assessed by parents and teachers were observed. SNAP-IV showed sufficient sensitivity to capture true positive cases without capturing many false negatives, and these results were corroborated by the analysis of ROC curves (0.78-0.96). Agreement analysis of parent-teacher assessment of ADHD symptoms indicated quantitative rather than qualitative differences between raters. These results are in line with studies that point evidence of validity of the SNAP-IV for screening ADHD symptoms. ; Este estudo objetivou comparar as avaliações de pais e professores de crianças com e sem diagnóstico de TDAH e investigar os indicadores de sensibilidade e especificidade do SNAP-IV (Swanson, Nolan, & Pelham Questionnaire, 2001). Participaram crianças entre 4 e 12 anos, 20 com diagnóstico de TDAH e 40 crianças sem diagnóstico (controle). Pais e professores avaliaram os sintomas de TDAH pelo SNAP-IV. Para analisar a concordância da avaliação foram utilizados coeficientes de correlação de Pearson, teste de qui-quadrado e coeficiente kappa de Cohen. A sensibilidade e especificidade foram analisadas por meio de curva ROC.
