نبذة مختصرة : This video titled, “Semester in New York,” with Connie (unknown last name), Class of 2003, was a pre-produced piece for Elon University’s Convocation in 2008. This piece reflected the learning experiences from Elon University with the student as a photo-journalist. The video began with the student talking about photography in New York City with close-up shots of her with her camera. She reflected on what gifts Elon University taught her that included: the chance to explore and take risks, allow to fall, and Elon gave her a place to fall and be safe to pick herself up and succeed. In 2014, Elon University's Isabella Cannon Global Education Center created a program that allowed students to spend a full semester living, learning, and interning in the "Big Apple" of New York City called the “Semester in NYC.” Some New York City scenes included: St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall, and New York City Street scenes with taxis. A name included: Jesse Borkowski.
