Biblos - Journal of the Institute of Human Sciences and Information is a scientific journal that publishes the results of studies and research on activities in the area of information in science and technology. The objective of the present study was to retell the history of Biblos, showing its trajectory, from 1985 to 2020, through an analysis of the journal’s publications. Scientific articles that were published in Biblos between 1985 and 2020 were searched. Subsequently, two bibliometric laws, Lotka's law and Zipf's law, were used for the collection and processing of the resulting data of the articles. Regarding the results, it is worth noting that from 1985 to 2009, Biblos was published as a journal in the areas of Library Science and History, that is why words such as City of Rio Grande, History, Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul and Historiography are present. In the years 2010 to 2020, in turn, the keywords of the articles that stand out the most are: Information Science, Librarianship, Library, Archives, Bibliometrics, Scientific Communication, University Library and Scientific Production. Given the results presented, it is clear that the journal's changes in terms of nomenclature and division of areas occurred in accordance with editorial demands. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi resgatar a memória da Biblos, mostrando sua trajetória, de 1985 até 2020, por meio de uma análise das publicações da revista. Realizou-se a busca de artigos científicos que foram publicados na Biblos entre o período de 1985 até 2020. Após isso, empregou-se as duas leis da bibliometria, lei de Lotka e lei de Zipf, para a coleta e o tratamento dos dados oriundos dos artigos.
