      Introduction/Objective: the research aims to investigate the social representation of female teachers who are part of the teaching staff of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree in Science (BIC) at the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB). Methodology: the methodology used was the Free Word Association Technique (FWA). The aim was to bring out their representativeness and their speeches through the inducer: “being a woman, a teacher and a scientist”. Results: it can be said that the social representation of the participants is related to their experiences, difficulties and the meanings of their stories. It reflects both challenges and a strong capacity for resistance, pride and redefinition of roles, which contribute to the search for greater equity and recognition in science. The professors' careers are marked by adversity, anguish, a lack of support, prejudice, sexism and the struggle for recognition in teaching and research. Conclusion: by persisting in science, teaching and motherhood, they show that being a woman, a mother and a scientist are not conflicting roles, but complementary ones. ; Introducción/Objetivo: la investigación busca investigar la representación social de las profesoras que forman parte del cuerpo docente del curso de Bachillerato Interdisciplinario en Ciencias (BIC) de la Universidad Federal del Sur de Bahía (UFSB). Metodología: la metodología utilizada fue la Técnica de Asociación Libre de Palabras (TALP). Se pretendió captar su representatividad y sus discursos a través del estímulo: "ser mujer, profesora y científica". Resultados: se puede afirmar que la representación social de las participantes está relacionada con sus vivencias, dificultades y los significados de sus historias. Refleja tanto desafíos como una fuerte capacidad de resistencia, orgullo y redefinición de roles, que contribuyen a la búsqueda de una mayor equidad y reconocimiento en la ciencia.
