نبذة مختصرة : russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine is the main issue today. It has become the first bipolar war on a global scale. russia's war against Ukraine has rapidly changed the perception of the russian threat and led to a multispectral conflict in the world community. The study is aimed at the scientific, theoretical, and applied substantiation of the russian leadership’s formulations of the invasion goals and their presentation. The research methodology consists in the analytical analysis of the current state of the war. The research provides an opportunity to analyse and demonstrate the results of various studies (political, sociological, historical) regarding the attitude of different countries and Ukraine itself to the war. Without a historical analysis, it is not possible to fully understand russia's invasion of Ukraine. The political component of our state is also an issue since traitors to the state who work for russia are often found in the power structures. The sociological research has been carried out using the survey method and the dynamics of support and assistance to Ukraine in the geopolitical space. There are many points that are considered from the perspective of combining and explaining these analyses. The scientific novelty is to substantiate the conclusions drawn during the war on the part of Europeans regarding Ukraine and the existing tension in the world and Europe regarding the events of various spectrums that are developing in Ukraine. Conclusions. Europe and the civilised world have radically changed their view and realised the extent of the Russian threat to the world. They realised that Ukrainians defend and win back their lands not only for their own sake but also for the sake of preserving peace and stability in the whole world, fighting for their freedom, values, and democracy, which we share together.
