Gestão da merenda escolar: Estudo de caso na Escola Estadual Professor Luiz Antônio Corrêa de Oliveira, Araxá - MG

The National School Feeding Program (PNAE) offers food, food and nutrition education actions aimed at students enrolled in public basic education. The present work, entitled "School Meal Management: Case Study at Professor Luiz Antônio Corrêa de Oliveira State School, Araxá - MG." aims to verify how the school manages the lunch, through the appreciation of the difficulties and quality, in the year 2022. To develop the research, we conducted interviews with the school's management and financial representative, in order to verify the hygiene of food and routine in offering meals; also, an online survey with students enrolled from 6th to 9th, in high school and EJA - in all shifts - in order to verify the level of satisfaction with school meals and raise suggestions for improving the process. It was observed that the main difficulties encountered were: focusing on nutritional quality, eliminating waste and relying on qualified professionals. Regarding the students' level of satisfaction, it was concluded that they are satisfied with the school lunch, however, they present suggestions.
