Pathologies that act on the dental lamina can produce alterations in the number of teeth, the shape or the size of those teeth that are forming at that time. These alterations occur in the vast majority of cases in the upper jaw or mandible. The most common supernumerary tooth is the Mesiodens. 10 supernumerary teeth were found in a sample of 234 panoramic radiographs observed. Of these teeth, 9 were in the upper jaw and one in the mandible. ; Las patologías que actúan sobre la lámina dental pueden producir alteraciones en el número, en la forma o en el tamaño de aquellos dientes que se están formando en ese momento. Estas alteraciones ocurren en la mayoría de los casos en el maxilar superior o en la mandíbula. El diente supernumerario con mayor frecuencia es el Mesiodens. Se encontraron 10 dientes supernumerarios en una muestra de 234 radiografías panorámicas observadas. De estos dientes, 9 estaban en el maxilar superior y uno en la mandíbula.
