نبذة مختصرة : Financial literacy is correlated with various predictors, e.g. gender, age and educational background (Kaiser & Lusardi, 2024; Zaimovic et al., 2023). The mathematical skills (Bruine de Bruin & Slovic, 2021; Kelly, 2022) and the mathematical self-concept (Marley-Payne et al., 2022; Skagerlund et al., 2018) can also be identified as possible influencing factors. Simple basic arithmetic operations as well as interest and percentage calculations or the calculation of probabilities are just some of the mathematical skills required to be considered financially literate (OECD, 2024). While there are already some publications on the impact of numeracy on financial literacy in adult and higher education (Callis et al., 2023; Darriet et al., 2021; Skagerlund et al., 2018), there is a research gap in terms of systematic literature reviews in adolescence.
