Article published in the EXCELSIOR on November 4th, 1925, titled “Significant Speeches given by Gen. Obregón in Los Angeles”, which reproduces three speeches given by Gen. Alvaro Obregón, one in Los Angeles and another in San Francisco, CA, USA. The speeches emphasize that only cooperation and good will from both nations will permit trade and a system of productive and fair communications. Newspaper article published by the REDENCION in Guadalajara, Jalisco on January 1st, 1928 titled “Three Formidable Speeches by Our Presidential Candidate”. The article reproduces the speeches Gen. Obregón gave at the banquet offered by the majority of the Senate of the Republic, in which he speaks about the dynamite attack that occurred in the Bosque de Chapultepec on November 13th, 1927, carried out by a clerical group. The article also reproduces a speech the General gave in the capital of the State of Mexico in which he advises against a response. The final speech was given at the banquet offered by Gen. Obregón to Mr. Charles Lindbergh in San Juan Teotihuacan. In this speech, the General praises the pilot’s bravery.
