Behaviour of information literacy in higher education in 2017-2022 ; Comportamiento de la alfabetización informacional en la educación superior en el periodo 2017-2022

Information literacy is a process that helps people develop skills and techniques so that they can locate, evaluate, select and use information effectively, in such a way that it begins from the childhood to the university education and is perfected throughout life. The objective of this work is to analyze the behavior of scientific production on information literacy in higher education during the period 2017-2022. A descriptive study was carried out, with a quantitative approach for the subsequent analysis of data on the behaviour of information literacy in higher education over the last 5 years in the Lens database. A total of 424 documents were obtained, of which 390 are journal articles, 28 book chapters, and 6 are books. In conclusion, the countries of the continents of North America and Europe, have higher scientific output on ALFIN in higher education compared to South American countries because they have bodies that promote the ethical and effective use of information such as the European Commission, by Spain and the Organization of American States, by the United States. ; La alfabetización informacional, es un proceso que ayuda al ser humano a desarrollar habilidades y técnicas para que este pueda localizar, evaluar, seleccionar y utilizar eficazmente la información, de tal manera, que empieza desde la formación infantil hasta la universitaria y se va perfeccionando durante toda la vida. El objetivo de este trabajo está en analizar el comportamiento de la producción científica sobre alfabetización informacional en la educación superior durante el período 2017-2022. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo para el posterior análisis de los datos del comportamiento que ha tenido la alfabetización informacional en la educación superior durante los últimos 5 años en la base de datos Lens.
