Actuaity of the subjekct of Research. Even 68 % 3-year old kids have teeth affected by caries, spread of caries in the group of 6 year old kids increases to 94 %, spread amongst 12-year old kids ranges from 68 % to 98 % and reaches 84 -100 % amongst 15 year olds. One of the main causes for occurance of this disease is insufficient mouth hygiene. Dental plaque is main risk factor for rising of caries and periodont diseases, so, control of this factor along with promotion of healthy diet and training of mouth hygiene skills in the families should be main focuses. Object of the scientific research is individual mouth hygiene of the children with mixed mouth bite. Goal of the research – to examine individual mouth hygiene of the children with mixed mouth bite. Characteristics of the research. In order to examine individual mouth hygiene of the children with mixed mouth bite, complex reasearch, that included both qualitive and quantitive methods, was performed: questionnaire survey of the parents and case analysis of the children with mixed mouth bite. Results of the Reasearch led to these main conclusions: individual mouth hygiene of the children with mixed mouth bite is more complicated and aggravated due to their young age as well as different tooth size in the jaw arch. Nevertheless, when professional mouth hygiene procedures were carried out and children and their parents were instructed, individual mouth hygiene situation increased, but still stays insufficiently good, therefor further consultations and IBH learning should be taken. Practical value and options for the application of the results of the research. In order to examine level of knowlwdge of the parents of children with the mixed mouth bite, questionnaire survey can be used in prie-school and school education institutions.
