Northern Territory health and wellbeing survey: non-indigenous population, December 2000

The Northern Territory Health and Wellbeing Survey was conducted in December 2000 by the Department of Health and Community Services. It is the first large-scale population health survey in the Northern Territory to provide statistically robust information on the residents of metropolitan, rural and remote regions. Information on a range of health related topics was collected by telephone from 2,498 residents aged 18 years and over from metropolitan, rural and remote areas.
