Objective: This study investigates the documentation of the Comissão Estadual da Verdade e Memória do Pará, aiming to identify it as part of the documentary heritage of the Amazon in Pará. The research analyzes how this commission is mentioned in journalistic articles, highlighting its importance in preserving historical memory and constructing narratives about human rights violations in the region.Methodology: The methodology employs a bibliographic review, analysis of the Relatório Paulo Fonteles, and content analysis based on Bardin. This approach seeks to understand the representation of these documents in the media and their relevance to justice and reparation.Results: The findings reveal that, despite analyses of human rights violations, there is limited coverage of this documentation as heritage, suggesting the need for further investigations.Conclusions: The study concludes that the preservation and accessibility of these records are essential for accountability and the strengthening of democracy, providing a foundation for future research on the role of the Comissão Estadual da Verdade e Memória do Pará in preserving the history and cultural identity of the Amazon. ; Objetivo: Este estudio investiga la documentación de la Comisión de la Verdad y Memoria del Estado de Pará, con el objetivo de identificarla como parte del patrimonio documental de la Amazonía Pará.
