Special Report on Climate ChangeAbout this report The EBRD is an international financial institution that supports projects from central Europe to central Asia. Investing primarily in private sector clients whose needs cannot fully be met by the market, the Bank fosters transition towards open and democratic market economies. In all its operations the EBRD follows the highest standards of corporate governance and sustainable development. As the EBRD seeks to foster transition and promote entrepreneurship, it needs to analyse and understand the process of transition. The purpose of this Special Report on Low Carbon Transition is to advance understanding of climate change mitigation and to share this analysis with partners. The responsibility for the content of the Special Report on Climate Change is taken by the Office of the Chief Economist at the EBRD and the Grantham Research Institute.
