      The head model was created using fine element modeling on T1- and T2-wighted MRI images of an exemplary subject resulting in a high-resolution tetrahedral head mesh model containing 8 tissue types. Electrodes of 1 mm thickness were simulated to be contained within a 2 mm thick sponge whose size extended the electrode size by 5 mm. All tissues were treated as isotropic. The electrical field E was determined by taking the numerical gradient of the electric potential.
