نبذة مختصرة : RESUMO O Brasil deverá receber cerca de 500 mil estrangeiros entre os meses de junho e julho, quando se realizará a 20ª edição do evento, que terá a participação de 32 seleções, as quais disputarão 64 jogos. Além disso, o Brasil receberá consideráveis investimentos para infraestrutura e serviços, relativos a estádios, mobilidade urbana, aeroportos, turismo, segurança, saúde, entre outros.Nesse contexto, tornam-se essenciais uma matriz de indicadores com articulações estratégicas, operacionais e de investigação entre as instâncias do Poder Público, das organizações do setor privado e instituições do Terceiro Setor para garantir o sucesso do evento. A ação conjunta desses segmentos da sociedade civil deverá gerar a sinergia necessária para consolidar o planejamento de todos os aspectos concernentes à realização do evento, que visa, em última instância, ao desenvolvimento social, econômico e cívico do país. ABSTRACT Brazil should receive around 500,000 foreigners between the months of June and July, when the 20th edition of the event will take place, which will have the participation of 32 teams, who will compete in 64 games. In addition, Brazil will receive considerable investments in infrastructure and services, related to stadiums, urban mobility, airports, tourism, security, health, among others. In this context, a matrix of indicators with strategic, operational and research articulations between the instances of the Public Power, private sector organizations and Third Sector institutions is essential to guarantee the success of the event. The joint action of these segments of civil society should generate the necessary synergy to consolidate the planning of all aspects concerning the holding of the event, which ultimately aims at the social, economic and civic development of the country.
