This qualitative study aims to investigate how older people have been affected by digitalization. The study also examines older people's attitudes and thoughts about the aspects of digitalization that have affected their lives. With the help of semi-structured interviews conducted with several people who grew up before the internet, various valuable insights can be created. By investigating a group that can experience both physical and mental setbacks when using digital platforms, new information can be collected and applied to other groups that encounter similar problems. This way, a greater understanding can be created for people outside the intended user group. It is also possible to create an understanding of how digital services and platforms can be better adapted to different types of people. The interviews are formulated to get an overview of how the participants' lives have changed since digitalization began and the data generated from the interviews was analyzed qualitatively. The insights created during the interviews concern digital habits, the negative and positive impact of digitalization on the participants' lives, and what preferences or thoughts they have about the digital environments of the future.
