La invisibilitat social de diversos grups, persones, temps i espais i memòries representen un problema fonamental a la didàctica de les ciències socials. El problema de recerca es va configurar a partir d'un conjunt d'investigacions a països amb un passat colonial, els vincles històrics i educatius entre Xile, Argentina i el poble maputxe i l'estat de la investigació en didàctica de les ciències socials a tots dos països. Per tant, l'objectiu de la recerca és construir coneixement que expliquin la invisibilitat social del poble maputxe en l'ensenyament de les ciències socials a partir de la perspectiva dels i les professors, de les comunitats maputxes i dels estudiants d'educació bàsica a Xile i a Argentina. Els resultats apunten a una política oficial que pesa en els currículums i que influeix en l'ensenyament i l'aprenentatge de la història i la cultura maputxe. ; The social invisibility of various groups, people, times and spaces and memories represent a fundamental problem in the teaching of social sciences. The research problem was configured from a set of investigations in countries with a colonial past, the historical and educational links between Chile, Argentina and the Mapuche people, and the state of research in the didactics of social sciences in both countries. Therefore, the objective of the research is to build knowledge that explains the social invisibility of the Mapuche people in the teaching of social sciences from the perspective of teachers, Mapuche communities and students of basic education in Chile and Argentina.
