نبذة مختصرة : Infant care is carried out for 1 year of infant age. Infant mortality is an important measure of national health because this variable is related to various factors, including maternal health, quality of access to medical services, socioeconomic conditions, and public health practices. Infant mortality (infant mortality) is the death of children aged less than one year. The infant mortality rate is defined as the number of deaths of children aged less than 1 year per 1,000 live births. At the end of the 20th century, the infant mortality rate was estimated at 7.0 deaths per 1,000 live births, which was significantly lower than in 1940, which was 47.0/1,000 live births. The design used in this research is analytically with a cross sectional study approach. The number of samples is 50 people. Sampling was done by Total Sampling Technique. Data analysis with chi square. Of the 50 respondents, most of the respondents had good knowledge as many as 34 people (68%), and a small proportion of respondents had less knowledge as many as 16 people (32%). Respondents with good knowledge, most of them experienced mild anxiety as many as 20 people (40%), and a small portion experienced severe anxiety as many as 4 people (8%). Of the 16 respondents with less knowledge, most experienced severe anxiety as many as 7 people (14%) and a small portion experienced moderate anxiety as many as 4 people (8%) in the care of newborns.
