La novela de la artista: Al faro, de Virginia Woolf, y Mi amor en vano, de Soledad Puértolas ; The novel of the woman artist: Virginia Woolf’s To the lighthouse and Soledad Puértolas’s Mi amor en vano

El presente artículo estudia Al faro de Virginia Woolf y Mi amor en vano de Soledad Puértolas como ejemplos de lo que podríamos llamar la novela de la artista. El trabajo se propone analizar, desde la perspectiva de la Literatura Comparada, la representación de la figura de la artista a través de la reflexión, presente en ambos libros, sobre el vínculo entre creación, amor, conocimiento, inteligencia y ambición. ; This paper examines Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse and Soledad Puértolas’s Mi amor en vano as examples of what may be called the novel of the woman artist. From the perspective of the Comparative Literature, attention is paid to the representation of the woman artist and the links in both books between creation, love, knowledge, intelligence and ambition.
