نبذة مختصرة : This study leveraged anonymized Wi-Fi data to analyze pedestrian movement patterns within Loughborough's town centre. The analysis revealed significant temporal and spatial variations in footfall. Temporally, activity peaked in January and reached a low in July. Spatially, the Market Place was identified as the primary hub of pedestrian activity, while Woodgate experienced the least traffic. These granular insights provide an empirical basis for evidence-based urban planning, informing strategies for commercial development, public space management, and infrastructure investment.
