نبذة مختصرة : Discrimination between genders in the labor market has been a subject studied in literatures for some years. Studies have shown that there are differences in incomes between men and women, but more recent studies, starting in 2005, have demonstrated the reduction of these inequalities. Given this reality, the present work proposes to analyze the female trajectory in the labor market and the reality of women as part of the Brazilian population, trying to understand how the income of the workers in the national economy in each one of their sectors is formed. For this, the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method is used, with the main analysis of the dummy variable: sex, based on data of Monthly Survey of Employment - PME - from 2003 to 2015 and from the National Survey of Household Sample - PNAD - from 2015. The results obtained through the regressions of each sector indicate the existence of discrimination in all segments analyzed, in addition to demonstrating that, despite the results presented in the literature, there are still wage differences between men and women that were not solved and / or identified.
