Arquitetura (In)tangível: da representação ao Metaverso

A representação do espaço arquitetónico ganha novos horizontes, para além do espaço físico. As fronteiras geográficas e analógicas são ultrapassadas e o espaço virtual ganha resplandecência. Tão real quanto o espaço físico, este novo espaço imersivo, chamado Metaverso, permite o desenvolvimento de dimensões de vivência inéditas. Novas possibilidades surgem, especialmente para os arquitetos, embora sejam ainda invulgares. O presente trabalho tem como temática a compreensão do papel do arquiteto na construção do espaço virtual, o Metaverso, com o auxílio de tecnologias de realidade estendida (virtual, aumentada e mista). Objetiva-se fomentar reflexões acerca do Metaverso como objeto e espaço de arquitetura, cuja construção provém de representações do imaginário. ; The representation of architectural space gains new horizons, beyond physical space. Geographic and analog boundaries are crossed and the virtual space gains splendor. As real as the physical space, this new immersive space, called Metaverse, allows the development of new dimensions of living. New possibilities arise, especially for architects, although they are still uncommon. The present work has as its theme the understanding of the architect's role in the construction of the virtual space, the Metaverse, with the help of extended reality technologies (virtual, augmented and mixed). The objective is to promote reflections about the Metaverse as an object and space of architecture, whose construction comes from representations of the imaginary.
