Parity and Gender. Contributions to the Debate from the Materialist Feminist Thought of Christine Delphy ; Paridad y género. Aportes al debate desde el pensamiento feminista materialista de Christine Delphy

This aim of this article is to make a theoretical-conceptual contribution to debate parity from a gender perspective, based on the materialist feminist thought of Christine Delphy, especially her analysis in Classer, dominer. Qui sont les “autres”? (2008). There, the French thinker tackles different problems –such as oppression, domination and “normality”– by revealing the ways in which the gender operates in its intersection of class and race, among other issues. From the gender system, humanity is divided into two hierarchical groups and is based on social organization in classes, by encompassing classes or gender. This social organization in which women are oppressed and exploited as a group is called patriarchy. On this basis, it is necessary to reflect on the legislation, for instance, to gender parity. And, although the analysis and the delphyana position are loaded with the reality that exists on French soil, I consider that some theoretical-conceptual aspects allow us to maintain criticism burning in view of the legislative advances in Argentina and South America, without ignoring that our main enemy continues to combine patriarchal, colonial and capitalist domination. ; Este artículo tiene como propósito realizar un aporte teórico-conceptual para el debate sobre la paridad desde una perspectiva de género, a partir del pensamiento feminista materialista de Christine Delphy, especialmente su análisis en Classer, dominer. Qui sont les “autres”? (2008). Allí, la pensadora francesa aborda diferentes problemas –como la opresión, la dominación y la “normalidad”– al poner en evidencia los modos en que opera el género en su entrecruzamiento con la clase y la raza, entre otras cuestiones. A partir del sistema de género, se divide la humanidad en dos grupos jerarquizados y se basa en la organización social en clases, al abarcar las clases o el género.
