نبذة مختصرة : Amauta fue una de las más importantes revistas en el segmento intelectual peruano durante el período en que circuló de 1926 a 1930, colocando a lo indígena como uno de los temas centrales. Desde los planteamientos del Análisis de Contenido, pretendemos mapear el discurso indigenista en Amauta en sus primeros nueve números, período que corresponde a la fase de gravitación del indigenismo en torno al socialismo en sus páginas. Mostraremos que en las representaciones de lo indígena en los textos indigenistas de Amauta había una estereotipación que apuntaba a una expectativa de “guerra racial”, resultado de paradigmas discursivos presentes en el indigenismo peruano. Concluiremos, a través de los conceptos de Reinhart Koselleck, que las representaciones de lo indígena en Amauta apuntaban a una perspectiva política que conformó un discurso que en este indígena reivindica lo autóctono, para que convenga con la unión del ideal de “Utopía Andina” a la expectativa socialista. ; Amauta was one of the most important magazines in the Peruvian intellectual segment during the period in which it circulated from 1926 to 1930, placing the indigenous as one of the central themes. From the fundamentals of Content Analysis, we intend to map the indigenist discourse in Amauta in its first nine issues a period that corresponds to the gravitational phase of indigenism around socialism in its pages. We will show that in the representations of the indigenous in Amauta’s indigenist texts there was a stereotype that pointed to an expectation of “racial war”, resulting from discursive paradigms present in Peruvian indigenism. We will conclude, through the concepts of Reinhart Koselleck, that the representations of the indigenous in Amauta, pointed to a political perspective that shaped a discourse that in this indigenous claim for the autochthonous, so that it would be convenient with the junction of the ideal of “Andean Utopia” to the socialist expectation.
