The formulation of the question in this study is: "Does the experimental method have an impact on the learning outcomes of students in Class V SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh's Object Shape Change Material Topic 7 Subtopic 3?".This study aimed to determine the effect of experimental methods on students' learning outcomes in terms of material changes in the shape of objects.Topic 7 Subtopic 3 in Class V SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh.This study adopts quantitative methods, the research type is a real experiment, and a pretest-posttest control group design is adopted. This study was conducted in Class V SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh.Sampling used saturated sampling technique with VA students as the experimental class totaling 25 people and VB as the control class totaling 25 people. The instrument used in this study was a multiple choice test consisting of 20 items.Datacollectiontechniquesused pretestandposttesttesting,whiledataanalysistechniquesused SPSSStatistics25andhypothesistestingwithpaired-samples t-tests.Theresultsofstatisticaltestingofhypothesesusing paired-samples t-testyieldedasignificancevalueof 0.000 0.05 (two-tailed).Thedecisioncriterionis toacceptHaandrejectHo.Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of the Experimental Method on Student Learning Outcomes in Material Changes in the Shape of Objects Theme 7 Subtheme 3InClass V SD Negeri 12 Banda Aceh.Keywords:Experimental Methods, Learning Outcomes, Material Changes in the Form of Objects
