نبذة مختصرة : INTRODUCTION: Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease characterized by disordered immunity and cytokines storm.The main clinical symptoms are symmetric joint involvement, synovial inflammation, and progressive articular damage, typically leading to physical disability, destruction of cartilage, and decreased quality of life. dNLR, simply calculated as absolute neutrophil count divided by difference between total leukocyte count and absolute neutrophil count,can be determined from complete blood count. Several evidences had demonstrated that systemic inflammation is associated disease activity in RA patients and may contribute to Pathogenesis and progression of RA. Circulating immune cells such as lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes can reflects severity and systemic inflammation. Albumin is a routine marker reflecting both nutritional status and systemic inflammation. Synthesis of albumin suppresses by systematic inflammation and malnutrition. Serum albumin functions as an antioxidant in the host defense mechanism. The albumin dNLR score consists of the serum albumin and derived neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio, indicates nutritional status and inflammatory conditions that are associated with the disease activity of RA patients. Accordingly, we prospectively collects clinical and laboratory data of RA patients, then investigate correlation of ALB-dNLR score with laboratory characteristics and disease activities of RA patients. AIM OF THE STUDY: This study was aimed to investigate the albumin-dNLR Score predicting disease activity rheumatoid arthritis and assess its relationship with clinical and laboratory parameters of RA. OBJECTIVES: 1. To determine the relationship between ALB-dNLR score with disease activity in RA patients in a tertiary care centre. 2. To determines relationship between ALB-dNLR score and other inflammatory markers and disease activity in RA patients.(DAS 28 score).
