      Newton, N.C., July 2nd, 1895. Dear Sir:--You are hereby notified that Noah Barringer, Fanney Wilson and H.F. Barringer have been duly appointed a Public School Committee, for the School House at or near Barringers now known as District No. 14 for the white race. Please qualify as provided in Section 2576, and organize according to Section 2577, of the school law; and enter upon the discharge of the duties of School Committeemen, immediately; and serve two years from and after this date. A copy of the Public School Law, of 1895, will be furnished you as soon as they are printed. Yours truly, Jno. F. Harwell, Clerk of Board of County Commissioners. ; Postmarked 3 July 1895.
