Gravidez na adolescência: um estudo a partir da realidade do município de Macaíba/RN ; Adolescent pregnancy: a study based on the reality of the city of Macaíba/RN

The present monograph has the main objective to apprehend the teenage pregnancy social determinants and analyses the reality of the city of Macaíba in Rio Grande do Norte, where is placed the Education and Research Center Anita Garibaldi, location where the mandatory curricular internship in Social Service were completed by the autor of this study. Therefore, the study is focused in this topic, in light of the gender, race and class determinations, and analyses the government and social policies concentrated on teenagers. Based on Dialectical and Historical Materialism, the research were developed from a bibliographic research and the notes about the internship experiences made on the field diary, as well from the documental analyses of the nacional, state and municipal Government Plans. Furthermore, the study is based in data from the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística, in Plataforma Integrada de Vigilância em Saúde (IVIS), to collect the numbers of the live borns in the country, and in data from the Education and Research Center Anita Garibaldi. Thereafter, the study presents the state policies to young teenagers in the nacional, state and municipal scopes, pointing to the data of the city of Macaíba and to the internship experiences. As follows, the research concludes that the comprehension of the teenage pregnancy as an multidetermned event, depends of the analyses of the reality that it is inserted. Lastly, the analysis points to a high number of live borns from teenage mothers, a teenagers focused state policies scarcity, and an intensification of the social issues in the city of Macaíba. ; A presente monografia tem como objetivo principal apreender os determinantes sociais da gravidez na adolescência e analisar a realidade do município de Macaíba no Rio Grande do Norte, onde fica o Centro de Educação e Pesquisa Anita Garibaldi, lugar em que foi realizado o estágio curricular obrigatório em Serviço Social pela autora deste trabalho.
