    • نبذة مختصرة :
The influence of the K salt of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and small concentrations of 2,4-D derivative metabolite 2,4-dichlorophenol on the development of lipoperoxidation in rats was studied. In rats, the activity of malondialdehyde, a secondary product of peroxidation, was determined at the same concentrations of the test substances. In animals of the same group, changes in the activity of catalase (KF1.11.1.6) and superoxide dismutase (KF.1.11.1.6), the main enzymes of the antioxidant system, depending on the exposure, were studied. It was established that in the studied animals, from the metabolites used in the study, the process of lipid peroxidation is more intense with the participation of 2,4-dichlorophenol, compared to the K salt of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid. The opinion is expressed that, in the group of animals exposed to 2,4-dichlorophenol, although the activity of superoxide dismutase is high compared to the K salt of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, we believe that the synthesis of superoxide dismutase in these animals is more intense than it is required for the lipoperoxidation process as a primary, as well as for the utilization of secondary toxic products.
