Das Format Themenwerkstätten ist ein Format für die transdisziplinäre und partizipative Zusammenarbeit mit außer-wissenschaftlichen Akteur*innen in der Forschung. Es dient der gemeinsamen Erarbeitung von Projektideen zu Beginn eines Forschungsprozesses – der Co-Exploration und dem Co-Design. Das Format besteht aus einer Serie von acht Workshops. Zu Beginn kommen die Akteur*innen mit Vertreter*innen ihrer gesellschaftlichen Sphäre wie Verwaltung und Politik, Wirtschaft, Kunst und Kultur und Wissenschaft zusammen und legen wichtige Fragen aus ihrer Perspektive fest. In den nachfolgenden Workshops erarbeiten die außer-wissenschaftlichen Akteur*innen gemeinsam mit den wissenschaftlichen Akteur*innen gesellschaftlich relevante Problemfelder und Projektideen. Im Werkstattbericht wird das Format vorgestellt und ausgeführt, wie und unter welchen Bedingungen es anwendbar ist. Anhand des Pilotprozesses Urban Health, den das TD-Lab der Berlin University Alliance durchgeführt hat, wird aufgezeigt, welche Methoden in den einzelnen Workshops angewendet und welche Ergebnisse erwartet werden können. ; The thematic workshop format is a format for transdisciplinary and participatory collaboration with non-scientific stakeholders in research.
