نبذة مختصرة : Background: Iron and folic acid are crucial micronutrients whose deficiency causes anaemia, especially during pregnancy when the demand for these nutrients is higher than usual. Ethiopia is among the countries in the world where the highest maternal and child mortalities are documented, which may likely be due to poor maternal services utilization like iron and folic acid (IFA) supplementation. Objective: The aim of this study was to assess compliance with iron and folic acid supplementation and its associated factors among Antenatal Care (ANC) attendants in East Shewa Zone public Hospitals, Oromia,, Ethiopia, 2023. Methods: A facility-based cross-sectional study was conducted from May to July, 2023. 416 participants were selected using systematic random sampling technique. Data was collected using structured pretested questionnaires through face to face interview with the mother attending ANC clinic and then entered into EPI data version 3.1 then, exported to SPSS software version 25 for cleaning, editing, and analysis. Finally it was analysed by logistic regression. Variables with (p-value<0.25) in bivariate analysis was entered into multivariable regression and AOR with a 95 % confidence interval was computed, and p-value < 0.05 will be considered as statistically significant in the multivariate model and was considered to declare a result had statistically significant association. Result: From a total of 416 pregnant women, 406 respondents were included in the study, yielding a response rate of 97.59 %. The mean age of the respondents was 27.70 ± 6.2 years. The magnitude of compliance of IFA supplementation among pregnant women was 50.2% (95% CI: 45.3-55.7). Pregnant mothers whose occupation was government employers (AOR =2.88, 95% CI = (1.09,7.66), pregnant mothers who had good knowledge of anemia and iron folate supplement (AOR = 3.975, 95% CI = ((1.96,5.63), contacting ANC four and above times (AOR = 3.32, 95% CI = (1.96, 5.63), counselling on iron-folate supplement during pregnancy (AOR = 2.39, 95% ...
