نبذة مختصرة : The current paper focuses on the odes written by the Valencian poet Vicent Andrés Estellés and goes further into some of his uses. First, Pablo Neruda and Horace, the references and models with which he learned and practiced this type of composition, are studied. Secondly, the corpus of odes by Estellés is defined -both published as unpublished ones, alongside with autographed or typewritten drafts. Thirdly, this type of composition is exemplified by the analysis of two odes written by the Valencian poet which are closely linked to J.V. Foix. They illustrate his admiration and tribute through elaboration from intertextuality and especially hypertextuality.
