A interseção entre literatura e direitos humanos em narrativas de testemunho

This study examines the intersection between Human Rights and Literature through the analysis of works such as The Diary of Anne Frank (Frank, 2013), Is This a Man? (Levi, 2022) and Tales of Kolimá (Chalámov, 2020). The objective is to seek an interdisciplinarity between human rights and literature, demonstrating the deprivation of human dignity in the works analyzed and discussing the persistence and resistance to these forms of tyranny and violation of rights in the contemporary era. It was found that literature enables a broader understanding of human diversity and the different dramas experienced, promoting a universal communion of experiences. For Anne Frank, writing represented a form of resistance to Nazism and overcoming loneliness. In "Tales of Kolimá", the author seeks to maintain his humanity even in extreme conditions of totalitarianism, while in "Is This a Man?", the author reflects on the human condition and finds meaning even in the face of calamity. These works illustrate how literature can encourage readers to become better human beings, reinforcing the importance of literature as a fundamental right, which allows individuals the ability to be moved and to help each other. ; Este estudo examina a intersecção entre Direitos Humanos e Literatura por meio da análise de obras como O Diário de Anne Frank (Frank, 2013), É Isto Um Homem?
