In order to prepare college students for a world with increasing globalization, several universities implemented a diversity requirement program for undergraduate students. This study discusses the importance and impact of diversity in higher education, and then presents several surveys and studies that have been conducted at the national level or within an individual university regarding diversity and diversity requirement programs. The study also compares various models of these programs and investigates some of them in details, including their mission, theme, and implementation.
