La hermenéutica del mito y la experiencia religiosa de Luigi Pareyson: su diálogo con Dostoievski acerca del cristianismo trágico y del nihilismo

This article analyzes the hermeneutics of myth and religious experience developed by Pareyson and his criticism of the “sophisticated” nihilism ilustrated by Dostoevsky in his character Ivan Karamazov. Faced with the factual acceptance of the world as it is by Ivan, who rejects the “violence of God” expressed in evil and suffering, Pareyson contrasts a reflection on Christianity characterized by what he calls “tragic thought”: this establishes that suffering constitutes the principle and foundation of solidarity between God and the human person.
