Integrating critical literacy and conscious Hip-Hop in the classroom setting offers numerous benefits. It allows students to engage more effectively in conversations about contemporary topics, enhances their ability to integrate cultural perspectives, and provides a fresh perspective on the challenges they face in school and within their communities. When teachers apply a diverse curriculum that resonates with young people, it enhances their ability to better engage students in learning. Ultimately, this should be the academic norm in school and exist as part of the teaching culture to challenge traditional framings that have neglected and disregarded minority people's culture. Combining critical literacy with conscience Hip-Hop allows the two to intersect and enhance a teacher's pedagogical practice.
