Health and Illness between Biomedicine, Biopower, and Cultural Interpretation.

يهدف المقال إلى الاشتغال حول مفهومي الصحة والمرض باعتبارهما ليس فقط شيئان بيولوجيان محضان بل الصحة والمرض هما بناء ان سوسيوثقافيان، لأنه في غالب الأحيان في مجتمعاتنا عندما نتحدث عن الصحة والمرض نفكر فيهما كواقعة بيولوجية أو بيوطبية، وهذا الأمر تجلى بوضوح في مقاربة هذا الموضوع في هذا البعد البيوطبي، لكن مع الطفرات الحاصلة في مجال العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية وتحديدا علم الاجتماع والأنثروبولوجيا وعلم النفس سيتبن أن المرض هو حقيقة وواقعة اجتماعية وثقافية. من خلال هذا المقال سنحاول التطرق لهذا المفهوم من منظورات جديدة تجسد لرؤية جديدة لمفهوم الصحة والمرض في السياق الأنثروبولوجي. هذا المقال سيتعزز بمخرجات دراستين ميدانيتين الأولى لـ Vincent crapanzano " في كتابه حمادشة دراسة للطب النفسي الاثني المغربي". كذلك استحضرت في هذا المقال دراستي الميدانية التي انجزتها حول " المقدس والمدنس بالمجتمع المغربي، فضاء ضريح سيدي علي بن حمدوش ". This article undertakes a critical examination of the notions of health and illness, approaching them not solely as biological phenomena but as complex socio-cultural constructions. In many contemporary societies, discourse surrounding health and illness remains predominantly entrenched within a biomedical paradigm, a framework that has historically shaped and constrained conceptualizations of these categories. Nevertheless, interdisciplinary advances within the human and social sciences—most notably in sociology, anthropology, and psychology—have illuminated the extent to which illness must be understood not only as a biological condition but also as a deeply embedded social and cultural reality. In this context, the article seeks to re-theorize these concepts through the lens of a renewed anthropological perspective, challenging conventional epistemologies. This theoretical reflection is substantively informed by two empirical investigations: first, Vincent Crapanzano’s seminal ethnographic study of the Hamadsha brotherhood, detailed in The Hamadsha: A Study in Moroccan Ethnopsychiatry; and second, my own ethnographic research entitled The Sacred and the Profane in Moroccan Society: The Space of the Shrine of Sidi Ali Ben Hamdouch, conducted within the socio-cultural milieu of Morocco.
