A Personality of the Pharmaceutical Field from Romania, Pharmacist Ioan Murgău (1880-1948) from Turda. (English)

Ioan Murgau was a representative figure of the Romanian intelligentsia from Turda. He built a solid career in the pharmaceutical field, being the first relevant Romanian in this profession from the city on Arieş. The relevance of Ioan Murgău in history is given by the important positions he held, both from a professional and political point of view. We recall those of pharmaceutical general inspector and prefect of Turda County. He carried out a rich social activity, active in the financial-economic field, but also in the church, being a person with real religious affinities. Ioan Murgău remains over time a bright figure of the city of Turda, which he loved and respected. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
