Tricerebral cycles for the mediation of knowledge in Natural Sciences. (English)

The present study is an action-participatory research whose objective was to determine the influence of the tricerebral cycles in students of Natural Sciences of General Secondary Education and Youth and Adult Education. Information was collected through observation and application of a semi-structured interview to key informants of the community, which was presented in tables with their respective analysis. Likewise, the brain inclination of teachers and students of 5th year of General Secondary Education and 4th period of Youth and Adult Education of two educational institutions was determined, using the triadic mental quotient test. Differences were observed in each one of the students, which propitiated the use of the tricerebral cycles to approach them collectively. On the other hand, deficiencies were identified in the institution’s personnel in terms of planning, direction, control and evaluation, together with other elements such as integration, group work and communication. The need to implement strategies that make it easier to mediate the contents of the subjects in the different educational modalities was highlighted. Thus, neuroeducation and the tricerebral cycles emerge as an innovative educational strategy for the planning of learning that favored students academically, evidencing its feasibility of use in educational institutions. El presente estudio es una investigación acción-participativa cuyo objetivo fue determinar la influencia de los ciclos tricerebrales en estudiantes de Ciencias Naturales de Educación Media General y Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos. La recolección de información se realizó mediante la observación y aplicación de una entrevista semiestructurada a informantes clave de la comunidad, la cual fue presentada en cuadros con su respectivo análisis. Asimismo, se determinó la inclinación cerebral de los docentes y estudiantes de 5° año de Educación Media General y 4° periodo de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos de dos instituciones educativas, usando el test revelador del cociente mental tríadico. Se observó diferencias en cada uno de los estudiantes, lo cual propició el uso de los ciclos tricerebrales para abordarlos de forma colectiva. Por otro lado, se identificaron las deficiencias en el personal de la institución en cuanto a la planificación, dirección, control y evaluación; aunado a otros elementos como la integración, trabajo grupal y la comunicación. Se destacó la necesidad de implementar estrategias que permitan mediar con mayor facilidad los contenidos de las asignaturas en las diferentes modalidades educativas. Es así como la neuroeducación y los ciclos tricerebrales surgen como una estrategia educativa innovadora para la planificación de los aprendizajes que favorecieron académicamente a los estudiantes, evidenciando su factibilidad de uso en las instituciones educativas.
