تناولت هذه الورقة البحثية خيار التكامل العمودي كإستراتيجية تتبناها المؤسسات للمنافسة في الصناعة، حيث تتيح هاته الإستراتيجية إمكانية توسيع أنشطة المؤسسة و ذلك من خلال كل من التكامل الخلفي نحو أنشطة المنبع و كذا التكامل الأمامي نحو أنشطة المصب . و قد حاولت هذه الدراسة توضيح مبررات انتهاج هاته الإستراتيجية التنافسية من طرف المؤسسات و إلقاء الضوء على مختلف النظريات الاقتصادية المفسرة لها، و كذا تأثيرها على أداء المؤسسات التي تتبناها كإستراتيجية تنافسية من خلال إبراز المزايا و التكاليف التي تضيفها هاته الإستراتيجية ،و خلصت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة بين إستراتيجية التكامل العمودي و القوة السوقية للمؤسسة عن طريق تحسين القوة التفاوضية لها في الصناعة، كما توفر لها جملة من الوفورات العملياتية و المعلوماتية التي تسمح لها بتخفيض تكاليفها الإجمالية. This paper addressed the option of vertical integration as a strategy adopted by enterprises to competition in the industry, this strategy enables the possibility of expanding the activities of the Foundation through both back towards integration activities upstream and downstream activities forward integration. And this study has attempted to clarify the rationale for pursuing this competitive strategy institutions and highlight various economic theories behind them, and their impact on the functioning of the institutions as a competitive strategy by highlighting the benefits and costs that you add this strategy, And the study found a relationship between the vertical integration strategy and the market power of the enterprise through improved bargaining power in its industry, as provided, inter alia, operational savings and Informatics to reduce overall costs.
