Análisis de las experiencias y estrategias de los intérpretes médicos remotos en casos de llamadas sensibles ; This study focuses on the detailed analysis of experiences and strategies employed by remote healthcare interpreters in sensitive situations during phone calls. The main purpose is to thoroughly understand how these professionals address specific challenges in telephonic healthcare interpretation. The research is contextualized within the growing importance of remote interpretation in medical settings, where effective communication between patients and healthcare professionals is essential. The need to overcome language and cultural barriers in critical moments of acute illnesses is emphasized. The underlying assumption of the study is based on the idea that remote healthcare interpretation, compared to other modalities, presents unique challenges. The theoretical foundations include key concepts such as healthcare interpretation, remote healthcare interpretation, and emotion management. Additionally, the importance of emotional intelligence is stressed for remote healthcare interpreters to effectively handle sensitive situations. This analysis provides a deep understanding of remote medical interpretation practices, offering valuable insights into the strategies used by interpreters in sensitive calls. Therefore, the study significantly contributes to the understanding of remote healthcare interpretation practices by providing valuable insights into the strategies employed by interpreters in sensitive calls.
