نبذة مختصرة : A Lei n.º 46/86 do Sistema Educativo conduziu à massificação escolar e o nosso país deparou-se com uma questão no campo educacional, aportando duas situações distintas: por um lado, os efeitos da globalização, afirmando o direito à educação para todos e, por outro, a existência de um currículo uniforme intersectando um público escolar cada vez mais heterogéneo cujos educandos revelavam níveis socioculturais diversos. Neste contexto, surgiu a necessidade de se repensar o processo educativo relativamente à problemática que se colocava em torno de um currículo comum e universal para todos os alunos generalizando-se, nos finais do século XX, o conceito de diferenciação curricular. Os professores passaram a confrontar-se, cada vez mais, com o grande desafio de adequar as estratégias de ensino às especificidades apresentadas pelos seus educandos. Por outro lado, o desenvolvimento registado nos últimos vinte anos ao nível da tecnologia e dos meios de comunicação social permitiu, igualmente, algumas alterações ao nível da interacção pedagógica existente entre professores e alunos. O autoritarismo praticado durante muito tempo pelos professores deixou de afirmar-se com a mesma intensidade. Na escola actual, o aluno espera ser considerado como uma pessoa portadora de sentimentos e de um capital sociocultural que devem ser tidos em conta no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Os processos de Formação Contínua, aliados a uma postura supervisiva da própria prática docente, podem servir para favorecer a promoção de estratégias pedagógicas diferenciadas que permitam ampliar a qualidade das aprendizagens efectivadas pelos educandos. O tema de investigação proposto assume, nos dias de hoje, uma importância crucial. É urgente reafirmar que o aluno é o foco central de todo o processo educativo, procurando realçar a importância cada vez mais crescente que está associada ao conceito de diferenciação pedagógica.
نبذة مختصرة : The Law n.º 46/86 of the education system led to mass education and our country was faced with a problem in the educational field, bringing two different situations: first, the effects of globalization, claiming the right to education for all and secondly, the existence of a uniform curriculum intersecting a public increasingly heterogeneous school whose students showed different sociocultural levels. In this context, there emerged the need to rethink the educational process on the issues that arise around a common and universal curriculum for all students generalizing, in the late twentieth century, the concept of curriculum differentiation. The teachers were faced increasingly with the challenge to tailor to the specific teaching strategies presented by their students. On the other hand, developments in recent years at the level of technology and media also enabled some changes in the pedagogic interaction between teachers and students. The authoritarianism practiced by teachers for a long time is no longer felt with the same intensity. In the current school, the student expects to be treated as a person with feelings and a socio-cultural capital that must be taken into account in the learning process. Continuous training processes along with a supervising attitude of their own teaching practice can promote differentiated teaching strategies that allow to increase the quality of learning process of students. The proposed research theme has a crucial importance nowadays. It is urgent to reaffirm that students are the central focus of the educational process, seeking to highlight the importance of the concept of pedagogical differentiation.
