Associations de Chitinozoaires de Normandie et comparaisons avec les faunes déjà décrites

Trois associations de Chitinozoaires de l'Ordovicien et du Silurien du Cotentin sont décrites. Les schistes à Calymene (Llandeilo) ont livré une micro¬ faune particulièrement bien conservée riche de 23 espèces dont 1 nouvelle. Dans la Série psammitique (Ordovicien supérieur) de l'Est du synclinal de Montmartin 21 espèces dont 1 nouvelle sont décrites. 20 espèces dont 1 nouvelle ont été identifiées dans la Série compréhensive (d 1 -s 4 ) qui peut être attribuée au Silurien inférieur (Valentien). La comparaison de ces associations de Chitinozoaires avec celles d'autres régions montre la difficulté de préciser des régions paléogéographiques.

Калименовые (Calymene) сланцы (.Лландейло) дали микрофауну в особенно хорошем состоянии и очень богатую. Эта микрофауна дала 23 вида и один новый. Б псаммитовой серии (верхний Ордовик) на восток от синклиналя Монтмартэна были описаны 21 вид и один новый. 20 видов и один новый были определенны в объемной серии (d 1 — S 4 ), которая может быть отнесена к нижнему Силуру (.Валентийский) . Сравнение этих ассоциации с Хитинозоэрами других районов показывает трудности уточнения палеогеографических районов.
Aus dem Ordoviz und dem Silur des Cotentin werden drei Chitinozoenassoziationen beschrieben. In den Calymeneschiefern (Llandeilo) ist die Mikrofauna besonders gut erhalten und zeigt 23 Arten, davon 1 neubeschriebene. Aus den psammitischen Schichten (Oberordoviz) des östlichen Teiles der Synklinale von Montmartin stammen 21 Arten, darunter 1 neubeschriebene. Schliesslich wird die «Série compréhensive » (d 1 -s 4 ) mittels Chitinozoen ins Untersilur (Valentian) eingestuft. Wenn man diese Chitinozoenassoziationen mit denjenigen anderer Gebiete vergleicht, zeigt sich die Schwierigkeit einer genauen Umgrenzung der paläogeographischen Gebiete.
Three associations of Chitinozoans are described in the Ordovician and Silurian of Cotentin. Calymene schists (Llandeilo) have given a particularly well preserved fauna containing 23 species (1 new). In the psammitic Serie (Upper Ordovician) east of the Montmartin syncline 21 species (1 new) are described. 20 species (1 new) have been identified in the multistage series (d 1 -s 4 ) which may be correlated with Lower Silurian (Valentian). Comparizon between these Chitinozoan associations and the ones known in other regions shows how the accurate definition of paleo-geographical regions is difficult.
