; The present work investigates the application of the concept of common, by Dardot & Laval, in parallel to Hardt & Negri's notion of collective doing multitude, and to Lemke’s considerations on the propositions of the latter, bringing them closer to the empirical observation of the action of peripheral collective groups from Vila Flávia, district of São Mateus, in the East Zone of São Paulo. The results point to the transformation of the city through social action in a network, showing that the redefinition of the urban space should not be subject exclusively to the state and mercantile logic, but can, in turn, be directly linked to the social processes linked to the autonomy of organization and production of individuals in community and collective activities, valuing processes of codecision and collaboration, in order to propose an environment of plural and democratic coexistence. ; Peer Reviewed
