      BACKGROUND: The present text was elaborated from the pedagogical experience offered by the discipline Supervised Internship in School Physical Education II, which integrates the curriculum of the Physical Education Degree course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).OBJECTIVE: Discuss the formative experience provided by the supervised internship in Physical Education in the context of Early Childhood Education. METHODS: The empirical reality of the research was an Early Childhood Education Center located in the city of Florianópolis and the interventions were carried out with children aged between three and five years, linked to Group 4 and Group 5 of the referring institution. As a data source, a class observation form was used, which supported the elaboration and execution of the proposed intervention planning. The document totaled 15 pages with detailed descriptions of each class observed and compiled analyzes of the proposals developed with each of the groups.RESULTS: The results consider two points of analysis: a) The times of Early Childhood Education; b) The rhythmic and playful experience with the rope. This interventional pedagogical proposal confirmed the relevance of the theme developed so that children could identify their own rhythms and appropriate others, as well as the importance of valuing children’s cultural patrimony and physical education in this educational stage.CONCLUSION: In conclusion, it is pointed out that this formative experience provided those involved with a set of significant learnings for the increment of teaching practice, with emphasis on preparation for work in Early Childhood Education. ; INTRODUÇÃO: O presente texto foi elaborado a partir da experiência pedagógica ofertada pela disciplina Estágio Supervisionado em Educação Física Escolar II, a qual integra o currículo do curso de Educação Física em Licenciatura da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC).OBJETIVO: Discutir a experiência formativa proporcionada pelo estágio supervisionado em Educação Física ...
